Sankalp Eye Hospital was founded by Dr. Jayprakash Purohit in 2008. With a vision to serve patients and prevent and treat eye diseases, the hospital has grown into a state - of - the - art, all - under - one - roof Eye Hospital. The hospital now has some of the world's most advanced diagnostic and treatment machines and trained specialist doctors and staff.
For over a decade, the Hospital has served over 50,000 patients and has become their trusted partner for eye care in Gujarat. Dr. Jayprakash Purohit
Dr. Jayprakash Purohit, completed his Masters in Ophthalmology (M.S.) from Shri M. P. Shah Medical Collage, Jamnagar, Gujarat in 2001. He did His fellowship in Vitreo - Retina under guidance of Renown Prof. Dr. Pran Nath Nagpal, at Retina Foundation, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2001.
He is founder and Medical Director, Chief Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Sankalp Eye Hospital and Retina Centre.
His area of expertise is in managing cases of Vitreo - Retina, Uvea, Ocular Trauma and Paediatric Retina, Complex Cataract Surgery.

Dr. Urvi Purohit
Dr. Urvi Purohit, has completed her postgraduation from Shri M. P. Shah Medical Collage, Jamnagar, Gujarat in 2001. She did Her fellowship in Anterior Segment, Cataract and Phacoemulsification under guidance of Dr. Abhay Vasavada in 2003.
Her area of expertise is management of all types of Cataract with Premium IOL and customised solutions for Cataract patients. She has vast experience in Refractive Surgery including ICL Surgery.
Glaucoma
Dr. Paaraj Dave
He is head of Glaucoma Unit at Sankalp Eye Hospital and Retina Centre. He has got close to 10 years of long practicing experience as first as a fellow at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and later as head of the department with Dr. TV Patel Eye Institute, Vadodara.
He has won many awards and accolades for his research in Glaucoma and has published articles extensively in reputed journals.
Paediatric Ophthalmoly
Dr. Meeta Modi
She is head of Paediatric Ophthalmoly and Strabismus Unit. She has done her fellowship at Dr. TV Patel Eye Institute, Vadodara.
